Information about the Alamo Heights
summer swim team
The Alamo Heights Pool Shark program is designed to instruct and encourage swimmers ages 6-18 through stroke development accompanied by strength and endurance exercises. This is a summer league only.
The Alamo Heights Pool Sharks team is a member of the Alamo Area Aquatics Association's Alamo Area Summer Swim League. The league is affiliated with US Swimming and has 39 teams from all around San Antonio. Our team will swim in four meets against other teams. In addition to the four meets, there will be a city championship meet and an all-star meet (check our calendar).
Every swimmer must purchase a competition style swimsuit in the Team's colors at an additional cost.
Prices are the same as last year to join the Pool Sharks. Member of the Pool pays $130 per child and non-member pays $150 per child.
Registration fee includes GREAT Coaching, Summer Fun, 4 Dual Meets, opportunity to qualify for the Division Meet, Welcome Party and intra-squad meet, T-Shirt, AAAA insurance and a concession contribution and end of the season awards party.
